The Ontario Provincial Police have taken to Youtube to ask the public for information related to a hit and run that claimed the life of an 18-year-old girl last month.
In a Youtube video released Tuesday, an officer from the Hawkesbury OPP discusses the case. He explains where the Casselman, Ont. Teen was last seen before her body was found in a ditch along DuParc Street at around 2:20 p.m. on September 24.
Jessica Godin was last seen on September 22 between 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. in a park on DuParc Street in Fournier, about 80 km east of Ottawa.
An autopsy of Godin's body showed the teen died from a hit and run collision.
Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the OPP at 613-632-2729 or Crime Stoppers at 613- 222-8477.
