Ottawa police believe there are more people who have vital information about the brazen daylight killing of a 16-year-old Ottawa boy, and investigators are urging them to come forward.

Yazdan Ghiasvand Ghiasi, a Grade 11 student at Notre Dame Catholic High School, was shot and dumped out of a vehicle in Ottawa's Chinatown neighbourhood earlier this week. He was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Police have charged three people in relation to the murder. However, they believe there may be more people who have information about the case.

Police ask those people to contact investigators at 613-236-1222, ext. 5493 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477(TIPS).
