Ottawa police say the suspicious death of an Ottawa man who was found critically injured in a west-end parking lot in August has been upgraded to a homicide investigation.
Police say Sean Murphy, 51, was found lying beside his bike near a business at the corner of Merivale Road and Shillington Avenue on Aug. 26. He died of his injuries on Sept. 16.
Although police originally pegged the case an accident, they are now calling his death the city's seventh murder.
