Police seek public's help to find gang member

Ottawa Police are asking for the public's help to locate a man wanted on two arrest warrants for aggravated assault.

Twenty-five year old William Douglas Brown is being sought as a suspect in two cases.

On Oct. 22nd, 2007, a man was stabbed during an altercation on Friel St.

Then on Feb. 22, 2008, another man was assaulted on George St. in Ottawa's Byward Market following an argument over a parking spot.

Brown is described as a black male, six foot four inches tall with a muscular build.

Police say he is a member of the Crips Street gang. They believe he is in the Ottawa or Gatineau area.
