The OPP are searching for a missing man who was charged earlier this summer for allegedly faking his own kidnapping in North Bay.
48-year-old Howard Sonnenburg is from Carleton Place. He's described as white, 5-foot-9 and 250 pounds. His family is concerned for him.
After failing to show up for work, he was charged for claiming to have been kidnapped at gunpoint in the Ottawa area and driven four hours to North Bay.
Police say those claims turned out to be false.
