Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to an overnight robbery on Prince of Wales Drive.

Police say a male suspect entered a gas station along the 1300 block of Prince of Wales Drive near Dynes Road around 9:35 p.m. Monday .

Police say the suspect jumped the counter, pulled a bandana up over his face and demanded money.

The suspect took cash, cigarettes and the clerk’s cell phone. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a male with olive skin, a thin build with short dark hair and a goatee.

He was wearing a dark green fleece, blue jeans, white runners with a black Nike “swoosh” and a black bandana around his neck.

He was also wearing a bright blue baseball hat with dollar signs.
