Police have issued a warrant for a 30-year-old Ottawa man accused of stealing almost one dozen luxury vehicles from rental companies at the Mcdonald-Cartier International Airport.

Police say Olivier Olympio allegedly used his credit card to lease 11 vehicles from airport rental companies in June and July and never returned the cars.

In July, a joint investigation with Canada Border Services, RCMP and Montreal police recovered four of the stolen vehicles in Montreal.

Police say a local music company was also defrauded of audio equipment valued at more than $20,000 by a suspect using a credit card with the same name.

Olympio has now been charged with nine counts of theft and eight counts of fraud.

Anyone with information about his wherabouts is asked to contact Ottawa police at 613-236-1222 ext. 3795 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-TIPS.
