The city's Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating after a single gunshot was fired into a Barrhaven home.
Police say the gunshot was fired into a home on Tartan Drive early Sunday morning. It's believed the gunshot originated from the home next door. Nobody was injured.
When police got the call, they obtained a search warrant for the neighbouring home. Police seized a prohibited firearm and several rounds of ammunition.
Joseph Shaver, 21, and Samantha Apps, 19, were arrested and charged with various firearms-related offences.
