Police on lookout for federal offender in eastern Ont.
Police are asking for the public's help to locate a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant who may be in the eastern Ontario area.
Police are on the lookout for 46-year-old Daniel Leeson who was serving a two-year sentence for multiple offences, including break-and-enter, arson and causing damage to property. Police say Leeson is wanted for breaching the conditions of his parole and should be considered dangerous.
Police are also warning residents Leeson may be staying in Brockville, Kingston or the Greater Toronto Area.
Police describe Leeson as white, 5'8" tall, 179 lbs., with brown eyes and long, curly brown hair. He also has a distinct scar on his nose.
Anyone with information about Leeson's whereabouts is asked to contact the provincial repeat offender parole enforcement squad at 1-866-870-7673 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-222-TIPS.
