Ottawa police have laid charges against a 45-year-old man after a pharmacy was robbed over the weekend.
The suspect allegedly walked into a pharmacy in the 2500 block of Baseline Road at about 11:40 Saturday morning. Police say he made a demand for prescription drugs and once receiving an undisclosed amount, fled on foot.
Andrew Labrecque of Ottawa is charged with the crime. He is also accused of wearing a disguise when it happened.
No one was injured during the incident.
Labrecque is set to appear in court next month.
