Police are tight-lipped about a crime scene investigation that has been going on in Kanata since the middle of last week.
Neighbours say police took a blood-soaked woman out of a home on Spearman Lane Wednesday. Officers have remained at the home ever since.
According to area residents, a couple lived in the house with a young child. They say the couple kept to themselves but could be heard fighting at times.
The Partner Assault Unit of the Ottawa Police is heading up the investigation. Officers say charges are pending.
