Three men are facing criminal charges after a home was robbed in west Ottawa early Wednesday.

The incident happened at about 3:30 a.m. when the men broke into a home in the 1400 Block of Caldwell Avenue.

The suspects were still in the home when police were arrived.

Two victims were treated at the home and transported to the Ottawa Hospital. The victims and the accused were known to each other.

Kyle Mathieu, 23 of Ottawa, was charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon for committing an offence, aggravated assault, robbery and assault with intent to steal, break and enter and two counts of breach of probation.

Another Ottawa Aaron Paradis, 24, is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for committing an offence, aggravated assault, robbery and assault with intent to steal, break and enter, assault causing bodily harm and three counts of breach of probation.

Christian Leardini-Rollin, 23, is facing similar charges. He was charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for committing an offence, aggravated assault, robbery and assault with intent to steal, assault causing bodily harm and break and enter.
