Ottawa Police are investigating after shots were fired in the Hunt Club area early Sunday morning.
Police responded following reports of gunshots outside a series of townhouses in the 3200 block of McCarthy Rd in Hunt Club. The incident happened around 6:00 a.m.
Police have confirmed shell casings were found on scene. They have not released any other information. Detectives were at the housing development Sunday morning.
Witnesses say six shots were fired. Bullet holes were visible on two homes in the development. One resident said there are bullet holes in her living room and bedroom.
