Police have identified the man found dead in New Edinburgh Saturday as Ottawa man Simon Hubbard, 43.

Hubbard's body was found in a pool of blood in the 100 block of Stanley Avenue just before 2 p.m. Reports said he stumbled out of the side door of a basement apartment at 190 Stanley Ave. He was wounded, bleeding profusely, and left a trail of blood behind him.
