Ottawa police have launched an investigation after a man showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound Sunday afternoon.
Police say the 29-year-old victim was shot on Hooper street in the Carlington area and went to the hospital around 3:15 p.m. Sunday.
The victim tells police he was shot around 2:50 p.m. that day. Police say the shooting happened in the 900 block of Hooper.
Police say there is no suspect description at this time.
The victim has been released from hospital.
