Ottawa police are investigating an alleged abduction attempt in the city’s west end.
Police say it happened around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Tamarack Place and Sutcliffe Terrace.
Police say a young girl was on her way home from the bus stop when a white man in a white, rusty truck approached her and asked if she wanted candy or to come inside the truck and get warm.
Police say the girl refused and ran home to tell her parents who called police.
