Provincial police this morning have released the name of the woman killed in that head-on crash on Hwy. 138 near Cornwall yesterday afternoon.
Police say 39-year-old Shannon Carver of North Bay was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was the passenger in a north-bound car that was hit by a pickup up truck trying to pass a farm vehicle south-bound.
Five others were treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
So far no charges have been laid.
