Ontario Provincial Police are going door-to-door in an effort to try to solve a two-month-old homicide case near Trenton.

Police discovered the body of a 38-year-old woman when they were called to a home on Raglan Street in Brighton, Ont. in November.

A post-mortem revealed Marie France Comeau, of Brighton, was the victim of a homicide. She worked as a corporal with 437 Squadron at CFB Trenton.

Police are now appealing to the public to help solve the case, as investigators try to piece together the woman’s exact whereabouts in the moments prior to her death.

Over the next few weeks, police say officers will be conducting an expanded door-to-door canvassing of the area surrounding Raglan Street.

Police say they are specifically seeking information about Comeau’s whereabouts between the late evening hours of Nov. 23, 2009, and the morning of the following day. She may have been driving a four-door silver 2009 Toyota Yaris with a hatchback.

Comeau’s body was located at a home on Raglan Street at about 1 p.m. on Nov. 25.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact OPP at 613-475-1313 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
