Ottawa police continue to ask for help in their search for a missing Ottawa man, moving their search to the water on Tuesday.

Fouad Nayel, 28, hasn’t been seen since June 17, when he told family and friends he was headed to the Petawawa area.

Police first asked the public for help on June 19 and said they’ve received few tips.

They said their marine, dive and trails unit searched the Calabogie area earlier this week and found nothing.

Nayel is described as a six foot tall, 180 pound Middle Eastern man with brown eyes, short black hair and poor teeth.

He was driving a black four-door Nissan Altima with the Ontario license plate ATTA 634, which also hasn’t been found.

In a statement, Nayel’s family said they’re concerned he may have been a victim of foul play.

“We miss you, we will never stop searching until we find you,” they said. “The people who have done this to you must face justice.”
