A $100,000-reward to help find the killer of a retired Ottawa tax judge and two other seniors has been extended.

Alban Garon, his wife and a neighbour were found dead in their luxury condo on Riverside Drive in June 2007. They were bound, gagged and beaten to death.

Although police have received dozens of tips, the case has stumped investigators who don't have any suspects, or a motive for the killings.

However, an unidentified man was seen leaving the building's elevator between 10 and 11 a.m. on June 29, 2007. Police believe he can provide information on the crime.

The man is described as white, in his early 40s, about five foot eight inches tall and 180 pounds. He had short black and grey hair and a broad nose. At the time, he was clean-shaven and wearing a white short-sleeved shirt with blue vertical stripes and dark pants.

The Ottawa Police Services Board voted Monday to keep offering the $100,000-reward. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Ottawa police 613-236-1222 ext. 5477 or info@ottawapolice.ca.
