Two men are charged with aggravated assault in connection with an attack that left an Ottawa taxi driver seriously injured.
Abdurazik Abdullahi, 40, was badly beaten in an area near Elgin Street and Gladstone Avenue on July 17. He remains in stable condition in hospital.
Walid Saraj, 23, and Bradley Bell, 26, turned themselves in to police Tuesday morning.
Both are charged with aggravated assault. Bell is also charged with two counts of breach of probation.
The pair turned themselves in after police used surveillance video from the taxi to identify two suspects over the weekend.
Both men are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
