The apparent targets of a drive-by shooting in east Ottawa are not co-operating with police.

Although investigators say the attack does not appear to be random, they have not been able to determine a motive.

Five bullets pierced the window of a two-storey home on Briarcliffe Drive in Rothwell Heights just after 11 a.m. Thursday.

Police say a few people were in the driveway and others were in the home when the shots were fired.

Although the shooting put several bullet holes in the residence, nobody was injured.

The Guns and Gangs Unit of the Ottawa police asks anyone with information about the shooting to contact them immediately at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (TIPS).
