Police ask for public's help locating missing teens

Gatineau police are asking for the public's help to find two missing teenage girls.

Police say Melissa Charron, 15, and Marie Helene Fraser, 17, both ran away from a Gatineau youth home on separate occasions.

Charron has been missing since May 31. Meanwhile, Fraser ran away from the youth home on March 5.

Charron is described as about five feet tall with a thin build. She has brown eyes and brown hair. Fraser is five feet seven inches and also has a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about the girls' whereabouts is asked to contact Gatineau police at 819-243-2345.
