A man believed to be in his 20s has died after being struck on the Queensway.
Paramedics say the man was hit by a vehicle on the westbound lanes of the 417 near Bronson just before 11:00 on Wednesday night. He didn't have any vital signs when paramedics arrived on scene. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
All lanes of the westbound Queensway were closed. Cars were being directed off the highway using a near-by on ramp.
The OPP is investigating the incident.
