A woman in her late sixties has died after being struck by a pick-up truck while crossing a road in the east end.
Police say the 66-year-old pedestrian was crossing Ogilvie Rd. at City Park Drive when she was hit by a truck making a left hand turn around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Apr. 14, 2015. The 49-year-old driver was not hurt.
Police say neither speed nor alcohol were factors in the fatal collision.
The investigation is on-going.
