A 28-year-old Ottawa woman faces attempted murder charges after a man was stabbed several times with a syringe early Saturday morning.
Police found the 50-year-old victim with puncture wounds on the 1400 block of Caldwell Avenue at about 3:20 a.m.
He and a woman had been arguing, according to police. She allegedly stabbed the victim with the syringe while making death threats against him and another person.
The man is still being treated for possible exposure to a communicable disease.
Angela Arvisais was charged with attempted murder and uttering death threats. She was scheduled to make a court appearance on Monday.
