Ottawa teen struck by car near South Keys
A 16-year-old Ottawa teenager was rushed to hospital in critical condition after he was struck by a car on Bank Street across from the South Keys Shopping Centre Wednesday afternoon.
Paramedics say the boy was unconscious and suffering from life- threatening head injuries when they responded to the call over the noon hour.
Police had closed Bank Street from Cahill to Johnston Road for the investigation but that section reopened just before 6 p.m.
