Quebec police have identified the teenaged victim of a fatal collision near Thurso, Que. as 16-year-old Michael Czyzewski.
Police say the Ottawa teen was pronounced dead in hospital after the vehicle his 26-year-old brother was driving collided with a tractor-trailer on Highway 148 at about 3 p.m. Sunday.
Czyzewski was sitting in the back seat at the time of the collision. A teenaged friend of the victim, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, suffered broken bones in the crash. Both drivers were not seriously injured.
Police say no charges will be laid.
