The Ottawa Hospital has upgraded the condition of Otatwa Senators team doctor Donald Chow, who was critically injured last Saturday.
Chow was hurt after his motorcycle collided with a car on Fisher Avenue.
Doctors have now upgraded his condition to "serious", from critical.
Chow has been with the hockey club since 1992.
