Ottawa real estate agent charged with attempted murder
A prominent Ottawa real estate agent, and father of 5, has been charged with attempted murder of his wife.
44-year-old Chris Hoare was arrested Wednesday, Apr. 2, 2014 after an altercation in the driveway of his Orleans home on St. Lucia Place. Neighbours called police after reportedly hearing screams at around 10 a.m.
Hoare worked at Paul Rushforth Real Estate and at one time served as the director of the Ottawa Real Estate Board.
Hoare will spend at least another week behind bars as he awaits a bail hearing.
Ottawa Police refuse to comment because the case stems from a domestic dispute.
