Ottawa Police warning drivers to clear snow and ice off their cars

It takes just a few minutes to get the snow and ice off of your car in the morning, but many people still don't do it properly.

After several cars have had their windshields smashed by ice falling off of other vehicles, Ottawa Police is cracking down on the problem.

Not properly clearing off your car could land you a fine of $110.00. Instead of handing out tickets today, police are offering a warning.
