OTTAWA - An investigation was launched in May 2013 by the Ottawa Police Street Crime Unit into the sale of drugs in the east end of the city of Ottawa.

Investigators identified a supplier, Kenneth Misquith and over a six-week period, drugs were purchased from the accused. A subsequent search warrant was conducted on the residence of Misquith by the Ottawa Police Tactical Unit on June 26, 2013 in the 1500 block of Riverside Drive, Ottawa.

During the takedown, the accused, along with two co-accused, were arrested by uniform officers from the Central NHO office. Misquith was found to be in Canada on a student Visa from Dubai.

  • Charged with 1 count of Trafficking, 2 counts Possession of Proceeds of Crime, 1 count of Possession of Drugs

Ayesha Eckert (f) 24yrs old of Ottawa - Released on Promise to Appear

  • Charged with 1 count of Trafficking, 2 counts Possession of Proceeds of Crime, 1 count of Possession of Drugs

Seized: Cocaine, Marijuana, MDMA, Morphine Pills, Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms), Hashish, Ecstasy LSD, Ketamine
