Ottawa police have identified a person they say might have information about a suspicious incident late last year.

Police say on Dec. 21, a man followed a woman from Montreal Road and Brittany Drive into an apartment building on Kristin Way, just northeast of Montreal Road and St. Laurent Boulevard.

Police released a photo on Feb. 1 of a 'person of interest' whom they said might have information about the incident.

On Feb. 7, Ottawa police said the individual had been identified and the investigation remained ongoing.

CTV News has removed the individual's picture from this article now that they have been identified.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Ottawa police sexual assault and child abuse section.
