Ottawa police have laid 23 charges after a two-day prostitution sweep east of the city's downtown core.
Police say six women and four men were arrested as a result of the sweep, which targeted street-level prostitution in Vanier and Upper town.
Police say the women were charged with prostitution-related offences, breach of recognizance and breach of probation.
