Police are investigating after a 23-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted while she was walking along Cumberland Street in downtown Ottawa.
Police say a man allegedly grabbed the woman from behind and inappropriately touched her as she walked along Cumberland Street near St. Patrick Street at about 2:30 a.m. on Monday. The man fled the scene after the woman screamed.
The suspect is described as an English-speaking white man who is between 25 and 30 years old. He has a medium build and short hair.
