Ottawa Police are investigating the city's fourth homicide of the year after a 23-year-old woman was found dead in a south-end motel room Saturday night.

Jessica Riopelle's body was found at the Saadé International Inn, located at the intersection of Bank Street and Rideau Road, shortly after 8:40 p.m.

Ottawa Police have charged 34-year-old Patrick Dunac with second degree murder.  He will appear in court Monday morning.

The cause of Riopelle's death is not yet known.  Police said there were obvious signs of violence in the room where she was found. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.

The motel complex also houses a 13-room motel, the All Win Chinese restaurant and the Diamond Cabaret Strip club. It's believed Riopelle worked at the Diamond Cabaret Strip club.
