Ottawa Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Foodfrenz Grocery store on Carling Ave. Friday night.
A lone male robber armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded the contents of the cash register from the clerk on duty.
He was given an unknown quantity of cash and bus tickets and fled on foot. He was last seen on Carling Ave.
The suspect is described as being a white male, 20 to 25 years old, five foot nine to five foot ten inches tall. He was wearing a red long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans with a bandana over his face.
