Ottawa police are investigating what they are calling a suspicious fire in the city’s west end.
Emergency crews responded to a 911 call this morning around 8:00 a.m. for a dumpster fire behind 25 Woodridge Crescent.
Ottawa fire crews reported a 16x16 shed with four dumpsters inside on fire.
They say five nearby vehicles and one moped were damaged by the heat from the flames.
No one was injured and traffic was not disrupted.
The Ottawa Police Arson unit is continuing the investigation and asking anyone with information to contact police.
Damages are estimated at about $50, 000.
