A 32-year old Ottawa man has been arrested after police officers noticed an impaired man sleeping at the wheel of his vehicle in the city's west end.
Police say the Direct Action Response Team noticed the car on Dumaurier Avenue just before 8 pm Thursday night.
The driver was sleeping at the wheel, foot on the brake, and car running.
Officers also noticed a gun tucked into his pants.
Police have laid numerous charges against Mathieu Cecire.
Cecire was to make his first court appearance Friday March 20, 2015.
