OTTAWA - Ottawa police say a man and a woman are facing numerous charges arising from break-ins in the Blackburn area.

Investigators say 40 residential break and enters linked to the suspects occurred in the area between June 2010 and the present.

Police say very little property has been recovered, but investigators are working to recover more items.

Stephen Paquette and Christina Carson, both of Ottawa, are facing a total of more than 100 charges.

Paquette, 45, faces 48 charges, including 40 counts of break, enter and theft and six counts of using a stolen credit card.

Carson, 21, is charged with 58 offences -- 29 counts each of break, enter and theft, and possession of property obtained by crime.
