A 30-year-old Ottawa man remains in serious condition at the Ottawa Hospital's Civic Campus after his motorcycle collided with a car, stalling westbound traffic on Highway 417 Monday afternoon.
Police say Richard O'Neil's motorcycle struck a stopped car while he was changing lanes on the highway near the Parkdale Avenue exit at about 3:45 p.m.
Ottawa paramedics say O'Neil sustained critical injuries to his abdomen, chest, arms and legs.
Police are continuing their investigation.
