It's a company of Men-at-Arms, specializing in the art of fourteenth century combat. The Ottawa Medieval Sword Guild is dedicated to the restoration of traditional Western Martial Arts, a fighting system deeply rooted in Europe. These medieval warriors gather regularly to research, interpret and practice their art. They are skilled in the use of daggers, swords, spears, pole axes, archery, grappling and horsemanship. The OMSG gives educational demonstrations at festivals and schools.
