OTTAWA -- An Ottawa man is facing 27 charges in connection with what police describe as historic sexual assaults taking place over two decades.
Ottawa police say the alleged offences took place between 1978 and 1999 while the suspect was living in the Ottawa area.
They say the alleged victims range in age from 13 to 18.
Derek McKay, 63, was arrested Monday and charged with offences including sexual assault, forcible confinement and indecent act.
McKay is due in court for a bail hearing on Tuesday.
The investigation continues.
