An Ottawa man is charged with voyeurism after reports of a man recording women and stealing their clothes at an office building in Little Italy.

 The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section charged Andrew Acelvari, 58, with five counts of voyeurism, five counts of mischief and one count of theft not exceeding $5,000.

After receiving complaints from women, police started an investigation on September 15, 2014.  Several women complained of suspicious incidents.  It’s believed the women were recorded and some of their clothes were stolen.  Police say some victims are yet to be identified.

Acelvari, is to appear in court for a bail hearing September 25, 2014.
