Ottawa man charged in OC Transpo sex assault cases
Ottawa Police have charged a 34 year old man in connection with a series of sexual assaults on OC Transpo buses.
Racil Hilan faces five counts of sexual assault in incidents ranging from last November to January 2013.
Ottawa Police say they charged the same man for another string of sex assault incidents from mid December 2011 to Februrary 2012.
The charges today include 10 counts of failure to comply with conditions of judicial release.
Police laid these recent charges just days after an Ottawa teenager appeared on CTV Ottawa News to warn other women of a man who sexually assaulted her three weeks ago on a crowded number 95 bus.
Kaleigh Langdon says at the time, no one on the bus reacted to the attack.
"Nobody said a word, nobody asked any questions about it", said Langdon.
Hilan's next court appearence is scheduled for Wednesday.
More to come.
