A man who was critically injured when he was hit by a vehicle near Algonquin College Wednesday night has died in hospital.
Ottawa police said Bradley O'Neil, 18, died Thursday afternoon.
A Whitby man is scheduled to appear in court Friday in connection with the fatal collision.
Andrew Wieczorek, 20, is charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident causing death.
Police said Wieczorek turned himself in to police Thursday at about 7:10 p.m. His vehicle has been seized and is undergoing expert examination.
