OTTAWA -- Ottawa police say they've charged a 76-year-old doctor with sexual assault.
Police say they began the investigation following reports of inappropriate touching of a patient at a medical office.
Investigators say a 37-year-old woman told police on March 29 that she was inappropriately touched by her doctor during medical appointments.
She alleged the incidents took place over a period of a year.
Mark Solomon is to appear in court May 9 facing a charge of sexual assault.
