More than three days after 15-year-old Brandon Zilney disappeared near Barry's Bay, OPP divers are still scouring the Ottawa Valley lake where he was last seen.
There is fading hope that Zilney will be found alive. The dive search is now termed a recovery mission.
The Combermere, Ont. teen was last seen leaving Hinterland Beach in Lake Kamaniskeg when he left for work at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Zilney's four-metre, aluminum Prince craft was later found adrift by police near the Chippawa Lodge. Inside the boat was a life-jacket and the boy's identification.
Zilney, who is about five foot eight inches tall, was last seen wearing a dark shirt, dark blue pants and glasses. He has red hair and weighs about 135 pounds.
