Ontario Provincial Police have recovered the body of a 15-year-old boater who went missing on Kamaniskeg Lake near Barry's Bay, west of Ottawa.
Police say Brandon Zilney's body was pulled from the water Tuesday morning near the spot where he disappeared from last week.
Zilney, who's from Combermere, Ont., was last seen leaving Hinterland Beach when he left for work at 9 a.m. Thursday.
His four-metre, aluminum Prince craft was later found adrift by police near the Chippawa Lodge. Inside the boat was a life-jacket and the boy's identification.
The police search for the teen turned into a recovery mission over the weekend.
