The OPP is invoking a curfew for kids under 16 in the town of Corruna, south of Sarnia, following an outbreak of vandalism.

Police report an increase in thefts from vehicles and damage to property by spray-painting and burning.

Between Friday and Monday, say police, vandals got onto the roof of a school and ripped up shingles and damaged roof vents.

As a result, anyone under the age of 16 will only be allowed in a public place between midnight and 6 a.m. with a person over 18 years of age and authorization by parents.
